Regina Kehrer Artist Statement

To paint with acrylic paints gave me the opportunity to open my heart and paint impulsive to express my feelings at the moment, when it was created.It was the second picture in this technique. Until this day I produced oilpastell and softpastell pictures, water-colours or draw with pencils.

I adore the special character and the ouevre of the late Frida Kahlo. For this drawing on paper I used softpastell- crayons.
