Born in March 1972, Middlesbrough;  I'm the second of two.. my brother was 18mths when I arrived.  My Dad was a fireman at the local fire station and Mum stayed at home with us.  We moved to a village in Grampian, Scotland 1979.  The primary school at that time had less than 30 kids and there were two of us in my year for three years.  It was a very special time and I feel lucky to have had that experience.  We later moved to another village in the area in 1983.   I became a young single Mum at 15, and moved to another village near by when I was 17 with my son;  my daughter arrived at 19 with her Dad at my side.   We lost my brother to cancer when i was 20 and he was 22; it was devasting to my family.  I left Scotland at 21 with both my children to live in Norfolk.  I decided to settle here as it gave me access to Norwich School of Art and Design in Norwich.

We (my children and I) have lived in three villages  in Norfolk and have finally landed in Norwich, Norfolk.  My children are grown and doing really well; I am a very proud Grandmother!  Throughout all the years I developed my abilites, culminating in a BA Cultural Studies at NSAD 2003.  I always found Art and Design to be my strength and it also gave me stength enabling me to share some joy in the world.  Recently, having transformed my living room into my studio,  I'm taking this opportunity to  focus on getting productive,   My over all aims are to keep working at it and watch it grow.   Please view my website on the link provided for further information.
