Description:

I wanted to extend the picture plane to three dimensions by extending the painted image to the side edge of the canvas. I chose a strap imagery to superficially hold the color shapes in place. Presenting this concept to established masterpieces, I feel that I am symbolically securing the art. Acrylic on canvas makes for the strongest presentation to portray this concept.
