I am presenting a conceptual approach to painting utilizing painted strapping, along with attachment rings and rivets, to hold painted forms in place. In this painting a released strap solidifies the concept. Continuing the strapping onto the canvas side edges extends the picture plane beyond two dimensions. An over all tension is established that challenges the viewer's perception, this achieved by applying acrylic paint on canvas.
