Adapting my painting concept to drawings, straps are executed in grease pencil over pastel rendered shapes. Ringlets are painted with acrylic silver paint. Strathmore Bristol is the paper. I chose a strap imagery to superficially hold the color shapes in place. Presenting this concept to established master pieces, i feel that I am symbolically securing the art.
