This is a small framed portrait of a mature Blue-faced honeyeater, the immature birds have an olive-green skin patch around their eyes. They are exquisite Australian birds and once seen will never be forgotten. This artwork was created using an airbrush, stencil of the original photograph (it is scientifically accurate in proportion) and acrylics on stretched canvas and framed in a floating natural frame.
