This artwork shows a single Double-barred finch so called from his two stripes, on a plate of seed. These are seed-eating Australian birds as their beaks show, but for many Australian birds, a plate of seed is not good, especially sunflowers that is high in fat content. Thus this little bird was really enjoying the meal. The artwork is small at 20cm x 25cm x 1.5cm, is textured and is framed with a hard backing ready to hang.
