Flock Sulphur Cockatoos
by Susan Willemse

This painting shows a flock of Sulphur- crested cockatoos flying in all directions. They are playful little clowns with loud screeching voices and powerful beaks. Actual cockatoo feathers were used to create this effect with an airbrush. Local Australian people call these birds ghosts because of their stunning white plumage, they prefer traveling in large groups and silhouette beautifully against Australia's blue sky.
