Nankeen Kestrel: Last supper before the storm shows one of these Australian birds perched at the end of a branch which is very typical of these birds holding his supper in his toes as the weather changes. Storm clouds can be seen and it started to rain soon after this bird was photographed. It is a powerful image that shows the struggle to survive where some sacrifice their lives so others can live.
