Rainbow Lorikeet in the fig tree —

Description:

This painting shows three lorikeets in a fig tree. They are nectar feeders with feathery tongues but I have seen them eat these figs and meat when hungry. They are great little characters that bounce or hop along the branches, because of their green backs they are quite difficult to seen sometimes even though they have brilliant blue, red and yellow, that is all the primary colors as well.
