This artwork was inspired by a photograph my husband took of this bird. The bird had rather a bad night before the morning, because he was in a nature reserve that had a kangaroo cull the night before, we found a shell on the ground with frost on it, all the birds and other wildlife were skittish, they stayed a little closer to one another or just flew and hopped away as we approached, all except this one bird that just turned his back to us gave us a cool look and did not move. It appears he thought our cameras were quite harmless, it is a moment that we will not forget, this Brown Falcon perched on the end of a dry branch, waiting and looking.
